Blog? What blog?

Well, obviously my 2012 New Year’s resolution didn’t go well (not to mention 2013): four posts last year and none so far this year. However, all of that is about to change, my friends. In order to gear up for my next adventure (which I’ll tell you all about once it’s ready to roll out), I’m going to count down my top 10 adventures since Yellowstone/Grand Teton 2011 (which is the last adventure I posted about). Although I’ve been slacking big time on the blogging of adventures, I have not been slacking on the adventures themselves.

Over the next few weeks you’ll get a post every few days, covering my favorite trips. I’m pretty sure I’ll follow through with this. For one, it’s summer; aside from teaching for an hour and fifteen minutes five days a week, I don’t have much going on. For B, I’ve actually already decided which top 10 trips I’ll cover. Finally, according to roman numeral III, I’ve even started a few of the posts already, so I pretty much just need to add some pictures and click “publish.” I think I can handle that.

This top 10 is jam-packed with awesomeness. It covers in-state, ’round-the-country, and across-the-seas adventures. It covers road trips and extreme sports. It includes family, friends, and my bearded companion (who happens to document our adventures quite well with photographs and videos). I can’t wait to share it all with you here. Remember, you’re also more than welcome to share future adventures with us in person — just tell us when you want to visit and what you want to do!

Let the countdown begin!

For a brief preview, check out this video. Mike put it together at the end of last year to document our 2012 adventures. It’ll give you a taste of what’s to come, but many of the top 10 adventures happened in 2013, too!
